Police still don’t know how much was stolen in robbery on the Palmar Road, Orange Walk

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a robbery in Orange Walk over the weekend, however, Head of Communications for the Department, Assistant Superintendent Fitzroy Yearwood said today that the amount stolen is still in question.

Alexis Cantun told police that he was riding his bicycle on the Palmar Boundary Road on Saturday, March 12, when he was approached by a red car.

The car stopped and two men, one armed with a firearm, came up to him and assaulted him.

“We can’t establish what is the amount of property that was stolen because the complainant is saying an undisclosed amount of cash,” Yearwood said.
