Verdes slide past Wagiya 1-0, on six-game winning streak in FFB Top League

Trimayne Harris struck the only game of the game for Verdes at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga to beat the team that has accompanied them since the early days of semi-pro football

With that Verdes have now won 15 of their last 16 games with the other game being a draw against the San Pedro Pirates at the end of the 2021-2022 Opening Championship. The Green Machine now sit comfortably at the top of the standings with 18 points, five more than the San Pedro Pirates who won 3-0 over Caesar Ridge and eight more than Altitude who could only muster a 2-2 draw against Garden City.
