Westrac Allliance’s Angel Tzib wins Masters Category in 100-mile Westrac/M&M Engineering Belmopan Cycling Classic

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Westrac Allliance’s Angel Tzib was the winner of the Masters 35+ Category in 100-mile Westrac/M&M Engineering Belmopan Cycling Classic on Sunday, March 13.

Lovell was timed at three hours and 51 minutes and 26 seconds (3:51:26) in winning his category in the race organized by the Cycling Federation of Belize. The Belmopan Classic started in front of Westrac on Forest Drive in Belmopan, travelled to Belize City, and then headed back to Belmopan finishing at the Governor General’s Field.

501 Valvoline’s Brandon Cattouse was second in 3:52:08.

Third place was taken by Kulture’s Kenroy ‘Smokes’ Gladden in 3:52:19.

G-Flow’s Giovani Lovell was the overall winner 3:50:00.

The 41st Westrac/M&M Engineering Belmopan Cycling Classic is a preparation race for the Holy Saturday Cycling Classic coming up on April 16.

Thirty-eight of 47 riders who started the Men’s Open race finished; nine did not finish. Four riders who signed up didn’t compete.
