Bakery delivery man robbed in Belize City

By BBN Staff: There was a robbery in Belize City this morning on Mahogany Street.

A bakery salesman was in his van along with a coworker on the corner of Mahogany Street and Causerina Street when two men on separate bicycles rode up to them.

One of the men put a firearm to the coworker’s head, demanding money, while the other approached the salesman and robbed him of $900. They then rode off on their bicycles in the direction of Causerina Street.

Police are investigating.
