Bakery salesman robbed on Mahogany Street

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a reported robbery of workers for Jacky’s Bakery in Belize City on Thursday morning.

Around 9:40 a.m., Chris Perrera, a salesman for the bakery was making a delivery at Lina’s Supermarket with his co-worker, Oscar Mejia, when two would-be robbers approached them.

The men were held up with a firearm for $900 in daily sales. Police continue their investigations.
