Belize Weather: Fair weather heading into weekend

A moderate east to southeast airflow prevails, supporting continued good weather according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be mostly sunny and tonight partly cloudy to clear with little or no rain.

High temperatures peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees inland and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate with waves of four to six feet.

Tides will be high at 10:13 this morning and 10:36 this evening and low at 4:27 this afternoon. Sunset is at 6:03 this evening and sunrise on Saturday will be at 5:57 in the morning.

Continued mainly fair weather and isolated showers are expected on Saturday though there will be slightly more in some central and northern locations.
