By Aaron Humes: More than 20 participants successfully completed their practical training in the construction of seedbeds and the production of vegetables in urban areas, cutting, sewing, and making school uniforms, among other self-development skills.
They were awarded their certificates by Mayor of Belmopan Sharon Palacio, whose Belmopan City Council collaborated with the Embassy of The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Belize and Help for Progress, Belize.
Mayor Palacio was pleased to share words of encouragement to graduates as they set out to market their newly acquired skills to uplift their livelihoods and that of their families.
The Belmopan City Council remains committed to creating work opportunities for all.
