Hattieville woman injured in gunfire at home

By Aaron Humes: A Hattieville woman was grazed by a gunshot at her home on Sunday night according to police.

42-year-old Janet Arnold was in bed around a quarter to eleven when she heard an initial loud bang that sounded like gunfire. She took cover on the ground and then heard several more shots, followed by a burning sensation to her left calf area.

The bullets left holes in her flat-screen television set and the wooden wall on the west side of her house. She was taken to hospital, treated, and released.

One person is being sought as police investigations continue.
