Weekend sees 25 new COVID-19 cases

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports 25 new cases of COVID-19 countrywide over the weekend.

Active case numbers declined marginally to 309 after 27 recoveries were also reported. A further 96 samples are under investigation.

The number of hospitalizations remain the same at three, and no new deaths were reported.
Overall, Belize is at 57,168 total cases. 56,159 are reported recovered or 98.2 percent and 654 or 1.14 percent died.
