By Aaron Humes: In association with the Belmopan City Council, the Consulate of the Republic of Colombia in Belize offered opportunities to Belizeans in the Belmopan area to apply to participate in the special agriculture training program being offered in Columbia and funded by the PANACA Foundation.
The program and the Foundation aim to: redefine and dignify the work of farmers; rebuild their self-esteem as the basis of society; promote reconciliation, empowerment, and development of the Colombian countryside; and reduce the levels of poverty, rural unemployment, and strengthen the generational revelation.
The Belmopan City Council and the Consulate of the Republic of Colombia in Belize are pleased to share opportunities that seek to empower and develop multiple skills for Belizeans, including agriculture, farming techniques, value-adding processes, and agro-tourism. The Belmopan City Council remains committed to creating work opportunities for all.
