19 new cases of COVID-19 to end week

By Aaron Humes: As many new cases of COVID-19 – 19 – as new recoveries has been reported by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The number of active cases countrywide remains at 276 with 101 samples under investigation.

The daily positivity rate stands at 2.56 percent and the national recovery rate at 98 percent. Two persons are still hospitalized.

Overall, Belize has had 57,231 confirmed cases of which 654 have died – no new deaths were reported today.
