Corozal Town features two NAWL B games this weekend at the Ricalde Stadium

Belize National Women’s Team star Kaite Jones will lead Bay City FC against Santa Elena Strikers in the National Amateur Women’s League B (NAWL B) at the Santiago Ricalde Stadium in Corozal at 3:00 pm on Sunday.

Bay City are all pumped up after romping 4-0 over Wagiya last week on two goals by Jones and one each by Aaliyah Herbert and Anahie Blanco.

For the Santa Elena Strikers, this is their first game of the NAWL B, but they know that they have their work cut out for them as Bay City should really be playing in the NAWL A with players like Jones, Herbert, Blanco, Saudy Rivera, Shante Chacon, and Amani Alvarez.

Prior to that, on Saturday at 3:00 pm, the Corozal United Warriors will be hosting the Cayo Dreamers at the Ricalde Stadium as well.

Neither team has seen action yet in the NAWL B neither really knows what the rivals have in store.

Only one game was played on opening week as the match between the Corozal United Warriors and the Santa Elena Strikers was postponed.
