Two men chopped with a machete during altercation on Faber’s Road

By BBN Staff: Two men are recovering at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) after being attacked with a machete yesterday.

Police say that 23-year-old Mark Humes and 20-year-old Oliver Solis were on Faber’s Road near Tang Liang shop when they got into an altercation with another man.

During that altercation, about five more men showed up and one of them, described as being dark-skinned with dreadlocks, pulled out a machete and attacked the duo.

Humes was cut to the left hand, while Solis received cuts to the left hand, left elbow, and left knee.

They were taken to the KHMH for treatment where they are listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating.
