Ladyville man pleads guilty and must pay for damage to wife’s cake and vehicle tire

By BBN Staff: Jermaine Jacobs, 38, of La Milpa Area, Ladyville, Belize District, pleaded guilty to damage to property in court after a confrontation with his wife on Thursday.

Jacobs admitted to intentionally and unlawfully causing damage to a cake valued at $85 and a vehicle tire valued at $250, the property of his wife.

For his actions, he was fined $800 due by June 30, in default six months’ imprisonment, and must compensate his wife to the tune of $335 by the end of April.
