By Rubén Morales Iglesias: People in Belize City reported feeling tremors this afternoon and figured there must have been an earthquake somewhere.
They were right. A 4.8 magnitude earthquake occurred at 12:43 pm on Monday off the coast of Honduras.
According to earthquaketrack.com, the earthquake had its epicenter in the Caribbean Sea about 95 miles from Savannah Bight in the Bay Islands of Honduras.
No injuries or damage have been reported.
