Belize Weather: Week starts with a few showers

The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies with a few showers and light rain countrywide.

High temperatures are 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 87 degrees inland and 72 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 76 degrees along the coast, 68 inland and 60 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots. Sea state is moderate, with waves of four to six feet.

Tides will be high at 8:02 this morning and 7:32 this evening and low at 1:04 this afternoon. The sun will set at five minutes past six this evening and rises at ten minutes to six on Tuesday morning.

The extended outlook for Tuesday sees a few showers continuing to affect the country, decreasing and becoming isolated on Tuesday night.
