By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Bay City FC are proving to be too strong for the competition in the National Amateur Women’s League B as they blasted their way through the Santa Elena Strikers 13-0 at the Santiago Ricalde Stadium in Corozal on Sunday.
Anahie Blanco converted a hat trick with her goals coming in the 15th, 24th, and 51st minutes. Alisha Terry nailed in a brace in the 3rd and 53rd minutes. Darina Tzul also converted a brace in the 46th and 50th minutes. One each came from Martha Stephens (16’, own goal), Nora Ramirez (22’), Miriam Villamil (54’), Aaliyah Herbert (75’), Shante Chacon (79’), and Jocelyn Sho (86’).
Bay City now lead the NAWL B with six points from two wins. Last week they won 4-0 over Wagiya in the only game played then.
The Santa Elena Strikers don’t have any points as yet.
