BREAKING: 27-year-old Santa Elena man murdered while socializing in Belize City

By BBN Staff: A man originally from Santa Elena Town, Cayo District, was shot dead while socializing in Belize City late Wednesday night.

Police say that 27-year-old Windell Neal and others had purchased drinks on Victoria Street and then went into a yard through Rhaburns Alley, where they began to socialize.

While there, someone came and shot Neal, fatally injuring him to the body.

Authorities were called to the scene and arrived around 10:09 p.m.; however by that time, they say that Neal was lying motionless in a pool of blood.

Police are investigating the matter.
