Masks still to be worn at Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital

Despite the lifting of restrictions which will no longer require the use of face masks outdoors or indoors, masks will still be required at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

“Please note that despite the proposed lifting of several COVID-19 regulations by the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the use of face masks on the premises of the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital Authority remains mandatory until further notice,” said a memorandum from Lennie Leslie, Director of Human Resource at the KHMH.

“Your adherence to the contents of the memorandum is appreciated,” ended the memorandum.

Though the Ministry of Health and Wellness said it was lifting all restrictions, except those for international travel, it left it up to the different entities and individuals to take care of themselves. Schools were advised to continue to adhere to safety protocols.

It’s no surprise that the KHMH is taking measures to protect its employees, after all, they are the ones in direct contact with sick people, including those with COVID-19.1
