Belize Weather: Fair, warm and dry conditions prevail

Fair, warm and dry conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be sunny with warm temperatures and little or no rainfall except for a chance of isolated thunderstorms over the Maya Mountains this afternoon. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with little or no rainfall.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 79 degrees along the coast; 75 degrees over inland areas and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty; sea state is moderate to rough with waves of five to seven feet. A small craft caution remains in effect.

Tides will be high at 10:04 this morning and 10:44 this evening and low at 4:38 this afternoon. Sunset occurs at 6:05 this evening and sunrise on Saturday is at 5:47 in the morning.

Continuing fair, warm and dry weather is expected for Saturday.
