Central Health region holds vaccination campaign in Belize City

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Central Health region is holding a vaccination campaign for babies and children at the Fiesta Park in Belama Phase 4 in Belize City on Friday, April 1.

The vaccination campaign which runs until 2:00 pm is providing different vaccines for babies and children and COVID-19 vaccines for persons 12 years and older.

For babies, the CHR is providing IPV (Pentavalent) for children at 2, 4, and 6 months and the MMR for children 1 year and 1 year, 6 months.

Children who are four and five years of age can get the oral polio vaccine (OPV) and diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DPT) vaccine boosters as well.
