Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing conducting road works in Northern Belize

By BBN Staff: In keeping with its push to upgrade road infrastructure countrywide, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is currently conducting road upgrades and repairs in Orange Walk.

The MIDH has conducted recent works in the old Northern Highway, Trinidad Village Orange Walk District, and Xaibe Village, Corozal District.

“While major road networks have received full attention, our rural communities across the country are also high on our priority list,” the Ministry said.

Apart from the northern districts, the Ministry has been actively working to upgrade streets in southern Belize and the Cayes, with upgrade works completed in Caye Caulker earlier this week.
