Government of Belize participates in Town Hall meetings with Belizeans in the diaspora

By Benjamin Flowers: Belizeans in Los Angeles, California, and Las Vega, nevada held a series of Town Hall meetings this weekend and the Government of Belize was there.

Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism & Diaspora Relations, Henry Charles Usher Minister of Public Service, Constitutional & Political Reform and Religious Affairs, Kevin Bernard, Minister of Health and Wellness, Ramon Cervantes Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade & Immigration, and Rodwell Ferguson Minister of Youth, Sports and Transport attended the meetings.

The Belize Tourism Board noted that the meeting began on april 1 and end today, April 3.

“This unprecedented platform aims to provide an opportunity for the Belizean Diaspora to address the Ministers of Government on pressing issues and explore opportunities for collaborations,” the BTB said.

The BTB also noted that its primary focus at the meetings was to provide information on the destination, including tourism developments and encourage travels back home among the various diaspora communities.
