Altitude beat San Pedro Pirates 4-2, wrestle away 2nd position in FFB Tope League

Altitude beat San Pedro Pirates 4-2 and wrestled away the 2nd position in FFB Tope League on goal differential.

Colombian Andrés Orozco nailed a header in the 13th minute to give Altitude the lead at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence on Saturday night.

Mario Chimal drew the ball game even as he responded for the Pirates in the 41st.

But Altitude were not to be denied and got back in the lead on a goal by Miguel Garcia in the 46th. Aldin Foremen made it 3-1 in the 64th and Ashley Torres blew it up to 4-1 in the 67th.

San Pedro got a second wind and Marcio Chimal converted a second goal in the 67th minute for the final 4-2 Altitude victory.

Tied at 14 points with the Pirates, Altitude have an edge because of +4 goal differential compared to San Pedro +3 goal difference.
