Garden City nip Wagiya 1-0 in FFB Top League

Garden City edged Wagiya 1-0 in FFB Top League at the FFB Stadium on Sunday.

Wilfredo Galvez scored the only goal of the match midway in the first half.

“It was a very competitive game,” said City coach Dale Pelayo.

Garden City now have nine points and remain in fourth place. Wagiya are still fifth with five points.

City’s next match is against Caesar Ridge on Sunday, April 10, at 4:00 pm at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan, while Wagiya will face Altitude at the Michael Ashcroft in Independence at 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 9.
