Police investigating motorcycle collision in Santa Elena Town

By Aaron Humes: A motorcycle driver is dead and another injured following a collision Saturday afternoon in Santa Elena Town, Cayo District.

Isaiah Sandoval, 26, and a 16-year-old girl were driving a Meliun motorcycle when they collided with 20-year-old Nigel Ramirez and his Kawasaki bike.

Sandoval was rushed to San Ignacio Hospital where he died of his injuries while Ramirez was also hospitalized.

The cause of the crash which took place in broad daylight remains under investigation.
