Ministry of Agriculture delegation visits Texbel Farm processing facility in Stann Creek District

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) Servulo Baeza and a group of Technical Officers visited the Texbel Farm processing facility in the Stann Creek District on Tuesday morning.

Texbel Farm is a producer of fruit beverages that it exports to the United States and Europe.

“The company’s focus lies in owning and operating farms in Belize that specialize in producing certified coconut water, lime and citrus,” said MAFSE.

TexBel has a 3,000-acre plantation where it grows a special coconut hybrid, Persian limes, Valencia oranges, White Marsh grapefruit, and other tropical fruits, including soursop.
