Man attacked by crocodile in Caye Caulker

By BBN Staff: A man on Caye Caulker was attacked by a crocodile this morning.

Police say that the victim, 29-year-old Joshua Young had gone diving on the North Side of Caye Caulker Village where he was then attacked by the crocodile.

When authorities visited the Caye Caulker Health Center, they found Young with an injury on his forehead and under his chin was bleeding.

He was listed in stable condition at the health center but was awaiting Wings of Hope to evacuate him to Belize City, for further treatment at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).
