Carlton Gladden latest murder victim

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the latest murder to be reported in the area of Mahogany Heights/La Democracia at the extreme western edge of the Belize District.

On Friday night, Carlton Gladden was found dead in a house in the village, showing various gunshot injuries to his body.

According to police, initial investigation reveals that at about 7:30 p.m., shots were heard in the area and concerned parties informed the Police. The cops went to make checks where they found the motionless body of Carlton Gladden.

This murder follows Thursday night’s murder of Tyreek August in La Democracia. Reports suggest there is an ongoing feud between youths of the neighbouring villages.

Investigations into this latest murder continue.
