Belize Weather: A sunny start to Easter week

A moderate east to northeast airflow prevails, supporting mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy to clear skies tonight, the National Meteorological Service forecasts. Little or no rainfall is expected.

High temperatures today peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees in inland areas and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 72 degrees along the coast; 68 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate with waves of four to six feet.

Tides will be low at 10:45 this morning and high at 4:54 this afternoon. Sunset is at 6:07 this evening and sunrise on Monday at 20 minutes to six.

Continuing fair and warm weather with only isolated showers is expected on Monday.
