BREAKING: Fatal motorcycle accident reported at today’s Women’s Cross Country Classic

By BBN Staff: There was a motorcycle accident this morning shortly after the commencement of the 31st Annual Women’s Cross Country Classic.

The accident occurred on the George Price Highway, involving Edison “Vintage” Usher and the passenger on his motorcycle. One person is dead and the other is listed as critical at this time.

The Cycling Federation of Belize has announced that, due to the accident, there will be no live streaming of the remainder of the race.

“We deeply apologize to all the cycling fans and people wanting to see the race. We send prayers and wishes to both men and their families,” the Federation said.
