By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing (MIDH) continues to transform lives by giving out brand new homes with the latest recipients being a family from Independence Village, Stann Creek District.
Estelita Martinez and her two school-aged children received the keys to their new home at a brief ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.
“As our Minister keeps saying, we’re grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to make such an impact on the lives of Belizeans,” the MIDH said.
Since the Ministry launched its Modular Houses Pilot Project back in September 2021, it has been making steady strides to achieve its goal of delivering 150 starter homes to Belizeans all over the country.
The project has divided the country into zones, to ensure an equitable distribution of homes countrywide.
