Missing Belmopan teen’s body had several stab wounds police say

By BBN Staff: Police are treating the discovery of the decomposed body of 16-year-old Daniel Guiterrez as a homicide.

Guiterrez had been missing since last week and his body was found on Sunday morning in a drain near the Cemetery on San Martin Road. His body had several apparent stab wounds to the chest.

Guiterrez was last seen on Tuesday, April 5, and officially reported missing on Thursday, April 7.

A murder investigation has been launched.
