U19 Belize Men’s National Football Team to play second friendly match in Chetumal, Mexico on Tuesday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The U19 Belize Men’s National Football Team (U19 BMNT) take on CAR on Tuesday evening in their second friendly match in the Chetumal area in Mexico. The match is set for 7:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. Belize) at La Charca in Chetumal.

On Sunday, the U19 BMNT defeated Cañeros of Pucté 3-0 in their first of three friendly matches as they prepare for the Central America Union (UNCAF) Football Championship which the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) is hosting in Belmopan at the end of the month.

Jahmani Hope, Kevin Higinio, and Allison Torres converted for the U19 BMNT in the match played at Pucté, about 30 miles away from Chetumal, on Sunday evening.

The third and final match will be against CAR MM at the Estadio 10 de Abril in Chetumal at 5:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. Belize) on Thursday, April 14.

The UNCAF U19 Championship, which features all Central American countries plus Puerto Rico, will be played at the FFB Stadium and the Isidoro Beaton Stadium from April 24-30.
