Alleged predator who licked minor’s breast granted bail

By BBN Staff: A 48-year-old man from Belize City is out on bail after being accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.

Allen Williams, who appeared to be physically ailing, was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court yesterday, wearing a neck brace, and was allowed to sit during his hearing because standing caused him pain.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge of sexually assault upon a minor and was granted bail in the sum of $2,000 plus one surety of the same.

The allegation against him is that on March 11, he was at a home in northern Belize and entered a room where the victim was alone. Williams allegedly raised the blouse of the minor and licked her breast.

The victim later told a relative and on April 8, Williams was arrested and charged.
