Belizean-American knocked down, killed in Los Angeles while training for Belize’s Cross Country Cycling Classic

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean-American Sergeant Brian George Martinez died after being knocked down in Los Angeles while training in preparation for Belize’s Cross Country Cycling Classic’.

According to the Cycling Federation of Belize Sergeant Martinez had sent in his registration for the Holy Saturday Classic and “while training in the early morning he was knocked and killed.

Martinez, who was 49 years old, served in the United States Army for 20 years.

He was a Licensed Clinical Health and Mental Health Therapist.
