U19 Belize Men’s National Football Team win 1-0 over CAR Mendivi MIS in Chetumal

The U19 Belize Men’s National Football Team (BMNT) defeated CAR Mendivi MIS 1-0 in Chetumal in their third and final friendly match played across the border this week.

Daijon Daniels scored the only goal in the second half of the match played at the Estadio 10 de Abril in Chetumal at 5:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. Belize).

In the first game on Sunday, the U19 BMNT beat Cañeros de Pucté 3-0 at Pucté, some 30 miles out of Chetumal.

On Tuesday, the U19 BMNT fell 3-2 to the elite CAR Cracks del Futuro from Cancun in a competitive match at La Charca Field in Chetumal.

The three matches were preparation games for the U19 BMNT which will host the U19 Central American Football Championship in Belmopan from April 24-30.
