Forbes named Belize one of the best places to travel in 2022

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize continues to make its mark as a must-visit destination this year with high profile celebrity visits, visits by the British monarchy, and positive mentions in international publications with Forbes magazine being among the latest.

In a recently published article titled “The 22 Best Places To Travel Around The World In 2022: Where To Go Next” Forbes lists Belize and other popular destinations such as Mexico, Martinique, Barbados, Grenada, and Martinique, Canada, and Peru.

Travel journalist and photographer Stephanie Vermillion urged travelers to visit Belize for the “mystical Maya sites, wondrous aquatic habitats, and lush national parks.”

Vermillion also encouraged travelers to check out the Cockscomb Basin Jaguar Preserve and the barrier reef as well as recommended the villages of Placencia, Hopkins, and Dangriga for travelers looking for a more laid-back feeling.
