Police charge suspects in murder of Oscar Chiac

By Aaron Humes: Police have announced the arrests of and charges of murder laid against Jeremio, 23 and Bernabe Xol, 20, both of Armenia, Cayo District.

The two are accused of stabbing to death 47-year-old Oscar Chiac early on Good Friday, April 15, while he was on duty at the Armenia Government School as a security guard.

Chiac had worked the overnight shift and called his wife just before 2:00 a.m. His body was found hours later by the school principal who had gone to check the premises.
