By BBN Staff: There was a drowning reported in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District earlier today.

Our newsroom has confirmed that the body of the victim was recovered from the river bank a short while ago.

Authorities are currently on the scene but the victim has not yet been identified.

This is a developing story.
