By BBN Staff: Police have identified the drowning victim pulled from the river in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District this morning as 44-year-old Faustino Camara, a resident of the village.
Reports are that Camara was drinking yesterday, left his home around 2:00 p.m., and was not seen or heard from again. Police responded to a call of a body found on the banks of the river around 9:45 this morning, and it was positively identified as Faustino by his brother, 44-year-old Fidencio Camara.
Police say that no foul play is suspected in the incident.
