By Benjamin Flowers: South Florida Caribbean News, an online platform that promotes all things Caribbean to its readers is encouraging travelers to visit Belize to check out the Great Blue Hole.

The site published an article today titled “Why the Great Blue Hole is an Awesome Reason to Travel to Belize” filled with amazing facts regarding the Blue hole and recommendations for travelers that do decide to venture to Belize to see it.

“Just arriving at the Great Blue Hole is an experience in itself, and for many, the chance to gaze at this unexpected, jaw-dropping natural wonder is enough of an attraction,” the site said. “But the Great Blue Hole is more than just an extraordinary sight. It was described as one of the top ten best scuba diving locations in the world when it was discovered back in 1971 by the legendary Jacques Cousteau, and it remains a site of pilgrimage for divers and underwater explorers to this day.”

Belize has been cited in numerous international publications since the beginning of this year, each catering to its own type of traveler seeking a unique experience.

Forbes magazine also recently featured Belize on its list of must-visit places in 2022, further adding to Belize’s rapidly growing list of notable mentions.
