By Aaron Humes: Fifteen-year-old Shamar Faber and another teenage boy have not been seen since Holy Saturday when they left home for destinations unknown.
Police say Shamar’s mother told them that her son and one Charles August left her home on Douglas Jones Street between 9 and 10 a.m. She did not see which direction they traveled in, and she has not seen or heard from him since. She added that on Monday morning, August’s mother informed her that they had apparently gone to Corozal to see his cousin, known only as “Dudu,” and that Charles had stolen her purse.
Shamar Faber was last seen wearing a red ball shirt with blue 3/4 length pants, and green and black Nike brand slippers. He stands five feet two inches, is of slim build and dark complexion with dark brown eyes and short black hair. August was wearing a white shirt, and white ¾ pants, with a single plaited braided hairstyle.
If you have seen either boy or know their whereabouts, kindly contact 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
