Police take more ammunition off the streets in Capital City

By Aaron Humes: Police have recovered more live weaponry from the streets, this time in Belmopan.

At 2:40 Tuesday afternoon, Belmopan Police conducted a search on an empty lot on Blue Grass Hill Street, Belmopan.

They discovered a grey plastic bag containing (33) .223 live rounds of ammunition: (17) G.F.L brand; (14) Aguila brand; and (2) WFC brand.

The ammunition was then taken to the Belmopan police station where it was labelled and deposited as found property.
