Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing delivering opportunities in Pomona Village

By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing continues its upgrade campaign of roads and streets countrywide, bringing new opportunities for Belizeans through improved infrastructure.

Pomona Village in the Stann Creek District is one of the latest beneficiaries in the Ministry’s campaign, with road works currently underway.

“For us at the MIDH, our mandate goes way beyond just upgrading streets and roads. In Pomona, for example, the community needed new roads. And so we’re getting it done, pushing new roads using quality material so that residents can access their land and get access to new land and new opportunities,” the Ministry said.

The Ministry is also conducting road works in northern Belize and the Cayes.
