Belize Weather: Fair today, all change tomorrow

The National Meteorological Service projects a change in weather conditions for the end of the week.

Today’s forecast is for sunny skies with cloudy spells and partly cloudy skies tonight, with only isolated showers.

High temperatures peak along the coast at 87 degrees Fahrenheit; in inland areas at 93 degrees and in the hills at 81 degrees. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots. Sea state will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.

Tides are low as at 6:38 this morning. The next tide will be high at 12:47 this afternoon, then low at 8:47 this evening. Sunset occurs at 6:10 this evening and sunrise on Friday at 5:32.

There will be cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially along the coast, on Friday.
