Daniel Moralez succumbs to injuries from motorcycle crash

By Aaron Humes: Family members of 30-year-old Daniel Moralez have confirmed that sadly, he passed on Wednesday night as a result of injuries sustained two weeks ago in a motorcycle accident.

Moralez was driving a friend, Khalilah Rodriguez, back to San Ignacio Town via the Cristo Rey Road on Sunday evening, April 10, when he lost control near San Antonio village and collided into a metal guardrail of a bridge, according to police.

Both sustained massive injuries. Their families began soliciting donations for multiple surgeries and blood as both remain hospitalized until Moralez’s death.
