Man fined for possession of crack pipe

By BBN Staff: A 39-year-old resident of Mile 7 on the George Price Highway was charged for being in possession of a pipe for the purpose of smoking drugs.

Police say that they found the pipe on George Palacio during a search conducted on April 18.

In court, he immediately pleaded guilty and begged the court for leniency as he just started a new job two weeks ago.

For his early plea, he was fined $500 plus $5 cost of court, which he needs to pay by July 29 or he will face six months in jail for default.
