Posted: Saturday, April 23, 2022. 4:54 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: Punta Gorda Town: Miss Earth Belize Destiny Wagner today returned to her home village of Barranco bearing gifts.

In conjunction with the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) and her parents’ non-profit organization Operation Kingdom, the Barranco Saint Joseph R.C. School received an assortment of cleaning and school supplies including laptops and a printer which Principal Loma Rodriguez promised would be put to good use.

Wagner said that not too long ago she was a lot like the youngsters running around today – knowing she didn’t have much for resources but determined to succeed. She now works to increase the opportunities available to these school children for them to become successful.
