Miss Earth Belize and Tourism Board to deliver package to children of Barranco

By Aaron Humes, Punta Gorda Town: This morning in Barranco, Toledo District, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) will partner with reigning Miss Earth Belize, Destiny Wagner, in providing a package with sanitation and school supplies to the children in the Garifuna village.

Destiny established a program named Operation Kingdom, a non-profit organization, designed to assist and provide meals to school children in Barranco Village.

The BTB recently appointed Wagner as Tourism and Sustainable Development Ambassador. In this capacity, she will assist in promoting and marketing Belize’s tourism potential both locally and internationally.

BBN will be on the ground in Barranco with coverage as it happens.
